Q2 2024 Insights: Top Fitness & Weight Loss Apps in the US

Fitness and weight loss apps have been a cornerstone in helping individuals maintain their health and wellness goals. As we analyze the second quarter of 2024, Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into the performance of top applications in this segment.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner experienced a consistent upward trend in revenue, peaking at nearly $5K in late May. Downloads for the app saw a high in mid-April with over 66K but gradually decreased to around 39K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained robust, hovering around the 360K mark throughout the quarter.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter showed significant revenue with a high of over $33K in early April, though there was a slight decline to around $20K by the end of June. The app's downloads peaked at nearly 19K in early May and saw a slight dip to around 13K in late June. The weekly active users were strong, starting at over 510K and reaching a peak of 559K in early June.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) maintained a steady presence with downloads ranging from 14K to 16K. The weekly active users showcased slight fluctuations but generally stayed around the 340K mark during the quarter.

Step Counter - Pedometer saw modest revenue figures, with a peak at $35 in late April. Downloads for the app varied, with a high of nearly 20K in mid-May. The weekly active user count showed an upward trend in May, reaching over 69K before slightly decreasing to around 55K by the end of June.

Macadam - Walk And Earn, despite not generating revenue, had an impressive surge in downloads in late May, peaking at over 29K. This growth was also reflected in the weekly active users, which saw a significant rise from 67K to over 128K by the end of the quarter.
